Are you cold? There's an app for that.

Indoor/outdoor gas fireplace manufacturer Escea has just launched a new range of gas fireplaces that features the coolest thing ever: built-in WiFi connectivity. That means — you guessed it — the ability to control your fireplace with your smartphone.

This is actually something I'm very interested in for the Milk house because we have two drafty wood-burning fireplaces that could use some updating.

Sleeves. They are a problem in the winter. No matter how securely I think I've rolled them, the cuffs always seem to sneak down right when it's least convenient to push them back up again. Bartenders back in the day had this problem solved. They wore sleeve garters to adjust the sleeve length on their one-size-fits-all dress shirts and to keep their cuffs out of the way while mixing drinks. These fabric-wrapped elastics are big enough to slip over your elbow while still snugly holding the shirt sleeve in place. Sounds perfect to me.

There's no denying it! We've all monitored our urine's day to day qualities and wondered what it's telling us! It's smart to do so. The E-Urinal is a concept that will finally tell you. It measures PH, SG, URO, BLO, WBC, PRO, GLI, BIL, & KET (basically: sugar levels, PH, red/white blood cells, etc.) all while you pee! Just let it rip and check out your health score on the easy touch screen! Just remember to wash your hands…
